New Google Buzz Icon for Your Website, Blog, Facebook Page, etc.
2/15 Update: IconPedia has new Buzz icons! I have replaced the one I created (below) with one of theirs, specifically:
IconsPedia.com is my source for free social media and mobile technology icons. I use them on my website, Facebook Pages, MySpace, and most importantly, on the right side of this blog. They have a great set of Google icons, but not yet for Google Buzz. My graphic design skills are very limited, but I did create an interim Google Buzz icon for those early adopters out there.
Simply right-click to download. The size is 64 pixels by 64 pixels. And just a little tip… when you download icons from IconsPedia, they have black backgrounds. Save some time and just right-click the icons below for those sites your organization uses:
I know many of you want to know how to add these icons to your blog, website, Facebook Pages, etc. and honestly, it is not easy. You need to:
1) Learn basic html.
2) Upload the images to a server like PhotoBucket.com.
3) Write the code and copy and paste the code into your blog using a HTML widget or into your Facebook Page using the Static Static FBML App.
If you can’t figure it out on your own, I do demonstrate how to do this click-by-click, as well as how to add a “Donate Now” button to your Facebook Page in my webinar on Facebook and Facebook Apps for nonprofits, but the next one is not until April 13. Finally, you can follow me on Google Buzz at google.com/profiles/nonprofitorgs!
